Lovely sitar & I have one almost 100% the same. BUT - the bridge is slightly off, as in not a perfect angle along to the strings. This means the JAWARI - the SOUND-TWANG quality won't be even & accurate. Someone's not paying attention for such a prestigious site as this !?!?!?!

Some erroneously call the actual BRIDGE the JAWARI but this is incorrect. The bridge is the GHORAJ as in BADA ghoraj, the main one & CHOTA ghoraj being the TARAF one underneath. Also that BIG sandpaper looks horrendous & is definitely NOT necessary as it's only needed by first player & possible the 2nd JOR taar.

Thanks for 'listening' - Nick in UK. aka trippymonkey.

I also noticed one of those really awful PLASTIC swan main string tuning beads on the main player?!?! I think I need to pop over & see what I can do for you all?!?!? HA HA.
